2. Where the information comes from
We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following sources:
- Directly from you. For example, from forms you complete, from products and services you buy from one of our network partners, and from information you give us when you sign up on our website to receive communications from us.
- Indirectly from you. For example, by observing how you interact with our website.
- Our marketing partners. For example, information we receive while providing services to our marketing affiliates.
- Verification service providers. For example, third-party services we use to check information we already hold about you, which keeps our records current and also helps us tell you about products and services you may want to hear about.
3. How we use personal information
We may use, sell or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following purposes:
- To fulfil the reason you gave us the information. For example, if you share your name and contact details to ask for a price quote or ask a question about our products or services, we use that information to respond. If you give us personal information to buy a product or service, we use it to process your payment and arrange delivery, and we may keep it to make future orders or returns easier.
- To provide, support, personalize and develop our website, products and services.
- To email you offers for products and services from our marketing affiliates.
- To create, maintain, customize and secure your account with us.
- To process your requests, purchases, transactions and payments, and to prevent transaction fraud.

- To help maintain the safety, security and integrity of our website, products, services, databases, other technology assets and business.
- For testing, research, analysis and product development, including improving our website, products and services.
- To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order or government regulation.
- As described to you when we collect your personal information, or as otherwise permitted by the CCPA.
- To evaluate or carry out a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or a similar proceeding, in which personal information we hold about our website users is among the assets transferred.
We will not collect additional categories of personal information, or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated or incompatible purposes, without giving you notice.
4. Disclosing and selling personal information
We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose, or sell it, subject to your right to opt out of sales (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information). When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we sign a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to keep the information confidential and to use it only to perform that contract. The CCPA prohibits third parties who buy personal information we hold from reselling it unless you have received explicit notice and an opportunity to opt out of further sales.

- Third parties to whom you, or an agent acting for you, have authorized us to disclose your personal information so they can tell you about products and services offered by us or our third-party marketing affiliates.
5. Your rights and choices
The CCPA gives California residents specific rights over their personal information. This section explains those rights and how to use them.
Right to know and data portability
You have the right to ask us to disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Making a request), we will tell you:
- the categories of personal information we collected about you;
- the categories of sources of that personal information;
- our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling it;
- the categories of third parties we share it with;
- the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (a data portability request); and
- if we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists showing (1) for sales, the categories of personal information each category of recipient bought, and (2) for business-purpose disclosures, the categories of personal information each category of recipient obtained.
Right to delete
You have the right to ask us to delete personal information we collected from you and kept, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete your personal information from our records, and tell our service providers to do the same, unless an exception applies. We may refuse a deletion request if we or our service providers need to keep the information to:
- complete the transaction for which we collected it, provide a good or service you asked for, take actions reasonably expected in our ongoing business relationship with you, fulfil a written warranty or a product recall under federal law, or otherwise perform our contract with you;
- detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible;
- debug products to find and fix errors that impair existing intended functionality;
- exercise free speech, protect another consumer's right to free speech, or exercise another right provided by law;
- comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et seq.);
- engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical or statistical research in the public interest that follows all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, where deletion would likely make the research impossible or seriously impair it, if you previously gave informed consent;
- enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with what you would expect given your relationship with us;
- comply with a legal obligation; or
- make other internal and lawful uses of the information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
6. Making a request
To exercise your rights to know, to data portability or to deletion, send a verifiable consumer request to us by email at support@netbid.ai.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act for you, may make a verifiable consumer request about your personal information. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child. You may make a request to know or for data portability no more than twice in any 12-month period. Your request must:
- give us enough information to reasonably verify that you are the person we collected personal information about, or their authorized representative; and
- describe your request in enough detail for us to understand, evaluate and respond to it properly.
We cannot respond to your request or provide personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to you. You do not need an account with us to make a request. We will use the personal information in your request only to verify your identity or authority.
Response timing and format
We aim to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of receiving it. If we need more time (up to 90 days in total), we will tell you why in writing, along with the extension period.
If you have an account with us, we will send our written response to that account. If not, we will respond by mail or electronically, as you prefer. Any disclosures will cover only the 12 months before we received your request. Our response will also explain why we cannot comply with any part of a request, if that applies. For data portability requests, we will provide your personal information in a format that is readily usable and should let you transfer it to another entity without difficulty.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive or manifestly unfounded. If we decide a fee is warranted, we will tell you why and give you a cost estimate before completing your request.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
If you are 16 or older, you have the right to tell us at any time not to sell your personal information (the "right to opt out"). We do not sell the personal information of consumers we actually know to be under 16. Consumers who opt in to the sale of their personal information may opt out of future sales at any time.
To opt out, you or your authorized representative can email support@netbid.ai with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."
After you opt out, we will wait at least twelve (12) months before asking you to authorize sales of your personal information again. You can change your mind and opt back in at any time by emailing support@netbid.ai. You do not need an account with us to opt out, and we will use the personal information in your opt-out request only to review and comply with it.
8. Non-discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless the CCPA permits it, we will not:
- deny you goods or services;
- charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through discounts or other benefits, or by imposing penalties;
- provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
- suggest that you may receive a different price or rate, or a different level or quality of goods or services.
9. Other California privacy rights
California's "Shine the Light" law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83) allows California residents who use our website to ask for certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make this request, please email support@netbid.ai.
10. Changes to this notice
We may amend this notice at our discretion and at any time. When we do, we will post the updated notice on the website and update its effective date. If you keep using the website after we post changes, you accept those changes.
